Meet the Team
Carys' Canine and Pet Services has a small team of experienced carers dedicated to giving your pets the best care possible.
Carys:
- Owner of Carys' Canine and Pet Services
- Ex ambulance care assistant & 111 call handler
- My degree is in Sociology and Social Anthropology (BA)
- I grew up in Essex
- In my gap year before University I worked in hospitality. I built my way up from working at McDonald's as my first job (whilst at Sixth Form) then slowly became a Duty manager at a large Italian chain restaurant in London.
- DBS checked: Basic and Enhanced
- When I moved to Kent in 2019, I loved it so much I've stayed ever since.
- After being in the NHS I wanted to love my animals more as I wasn't spending enough time with them - and I knew other families must be the same. So that is why I started this business in 2023.

Ellie:
- Ellie has a wide range of experience and knowledge in animal care.
- She has a BSc in Animal biology and wildlife conservation and is currently completing her Masters Degree.
- As well as this, she has experience in both pets and farm animals
- Ellie has extensive knowledge in dachshunds that suffer with IVDD
- Available to work in and around the Isle of Sheppey
- Available for dog walks, drop ins, daytime, evening and overnight pet care
